Flinter Barrows
The petty lord (current head) of Weber-Hollows and one of the 13 Verdant Lords, holding the seat passed down from his father Arador-Barrows (Aradorn the Unifier). Tall, muscular, handlebar mustache, wears a four-button shirt. Husband to Nora-Barrows and father to Shiloh-Barrows.
When the party arrived in Weber Hollows, Flinter received them at his home, offered food, and shared family and town history. He keeps family records in the Barrows-Family-Crypt just over the bridge.
Details
- Introduced himself simply: “My name is Flinter.”
- Tells the party Weber Hollows was founded “about 50 years ago” by his father Arador-Barrows alongside Isar.
- Hosted the party twice in one visit. The door reopens for them when they return.
- Did not trigger Echo’s fear of the town, suggesting he is not the source of the dark magic permeating the area.
- Verdant Lord status confirmed in session 2026-05-01: Nora referenced him in passing as “the Verdant Lord” while talking with the party. He inherited the seat from his father.
- Gave the party “the book” / Quartz wiki as in-fiction lore reference. Some at the table suspect this gift may have been a misdirect, though no concrete evidence has emerged.
